Beyond the professional, I try to maintain my personal creativity to the best of my ability. I have been a long-time enjoyer of clothing & developing my personal style. I think it’s one of the easiest ways to display & make yourself feel comfortable. I find so much more joy in perusing thrift stores & eBay for a fun, unique new piece than from just walking into a store & getting something off the rack. I’ve also been an avid sewist for almost a decade, enjoying being able to alter or create something that is completely my own. I’m also a big fan of working in the kitchen, cooking or baking a new recipe I found or made up. I think this is a form of creativity that can sometimes be overlooked, but it is certainly one I find myself embracing almost daily.

I’m someone who has a lot to say, and I think my hobbies & passions are reflective of that, even without having to use words (though I’m a big fan of those too). In school, I’d be talking to people & they’d refer to me as “the one who talks in class/answers the questions” or “the one who dresses up for class.” I’m not always one to immediately socialize or talk with people directly, so to have these things recounted to me further proved that I am myself in every situation.
